A great turnout this evening at the Borders in St. Petersburg - by Tyrone Square Mall. Over twenty people were there to hear my talk, and I signed copies of both The Silent Don and Cigar City Mafia for an hour after that.

I was regaled with stories of Al Capone's days in St. Petersburg by Leo and signed a couple books for some visiting Brits. And just as I was walking out the door I signed three more books for a Tampa native, and ended up talking for almost a half hour about my books and the impact they've had in West Tampa.

This week has been busy, but a lot of fun. Wednesday I did 970WFLA at 8:40, drove over to WTSP for an appearance on their Studio 10 morning show, then headed over to Tampa for a 1pm interview on 88.5 WMNF with Rob Lorei. Thursday night I called into Tampa Digital's Media Talk webcast for an on-air interview.

My next signing is this upcoming Saturday at Haslam's bookstore in St. Pete, from 3-4 pm.

Signing in Clearwater

A little slower tonight at the Borders in Clearwater- signed a dozen copies of The Silent Don and four of Cigar City Mafia. I signed stock as well.

Following the signing I went out and saw Hot Fuzz, a very funny movie from the same guys that made Shaun of the Dead.

Second Silent Signing

Had a book signing at the Borders on Dale Mabry S tonight. A great turnout (signed 38 copies of The Silent Don and six of Cigar City Mafia) and got a visit from some friends I had not seen in a while (Candie, Rich and Leester).

Looking forward to Saturday night in Clearwater.

I had my first book signing for THE SILENT DON last night at the Barnes and Noble on Dale Mabry N. I spoke for 20 minutes then signed books for 25 people. I also autographed some pre-ordered books, and the rest of their stock. Always a first rate signing experience at that store.

My next signing is Thursday at the Borders on Dale Mabry South.
